instruction modes

The Summer School intends to enrich your experience by learning from and with each other: you work together on the project and module(s) in small multicultural groups. This enables you to share knowledge actively, engage in discussions and exchange experiences with fellow students. You help one another through mutual tutoring, since everybody brings their own prior knowledge to the programme.

By combining group work and diverse background, a situation in which you learn how to critically review issues and circumstances is enhanced. The aim is understanding the complexity of issues and to stimulate taking a broader perspective by means of implementing tools such as scenario thinking, dealing with wicked problems etc.

Personal development is to support you in your progression towards becoming a successful and independent professional. Exercises are created in such a way that they lead to thinking about the future and what place you can and intend to take into that future. Group work and diversity lead to a higher awareness of yourself, and the role this self takes in a group.
