After completing this course, you are able to descibe the basics of ultrasound physics, the production and interaction of ultrasound and more.
You should be able to:
* Describe, recognize and use artefacts
* Create artefacts in the human body
* Describe the normal ultrasound anatomy of the abdominal organs
* Examine the normal abdominal ogans using ultrasound
* Implement methodical scanning by examining the abdominal organs
* Name the scanning planes used in ultrasound
* Use the correct ultrasound terminology
* Write an ultrasound report using the correct terminology
* Recognize the most common pathology of the abdominal organs

The exchange programme Abdominal Ultrasound is a programme mend for students in their 3rd or 4th year. The course consists of 8 weeks language course, theory and hands-on, 2 weeks Ultrasound Clinic SONAR, 2 weeks Internship, 1 week Assessment/Evaluation
