The Bachelor degree programme in Marketing Management will provide you with all the skills and expertise you need for a professional career in marketing.Marketing Management is an English taught four-year bachelor's programme. Each year consists of four ten-weeks blocks. The programme is designed to develop student knowledge regarding all aspects of Marketing Management, through an applied teaching approach. The career prospects are good for young professionals with a sound marketing background. Throughout your studies, you will work together with other students in teams to tackle a wide range of real-life marketing
and sales issues that affect the way business is conducted nowaday. This will enable you to put theory into practice. The School of Marketing Management co-creates cases with its preferred partners for student project work. This is done in small, multicultural groups, which will train you to respond effectively to all kinds of challenging marketing issues. Training is also provided in specific skills essential for your career, such as giving and receiving feedback, working in groups, intercultural

1st year

The first year focuses on the operational level of management. It gives you an introduction to the fields of marketing and organisational theory. Subjects will include economics, marketing and corporate communication. All subjects are linked to practical marketing cases. To deepen your cultural awareness and broaden your horizons you will learn an additional foreign language, such as Spanish, Mandarin (the official language of China) or Dutch.

Marketing professionals function on different levels. The study programme focuses on the following three levels of management: operational, tactical and strategic. It teaches you how to become a successful manager in areas such as marketing and sales, business development, branding and marketing communications.

The Marketing Management degree programme encourages students to broaden their horizons, for example by following parts of the programme abroad. Our Placement Office has many international contacts, to provide you with good internships abroad in Year 2, second semester (Germany, Spain, China, Malaysia, etc, etc). And the School of Marketing Management also has exchange programmes with various universities, for Study Abroad, in Year 4, first semester.

job perspective

Upon graduation you will be ready to enter both the national and international labour market. You will be able to work in a wide variety of commercial positions. The jobs that you will have been educated for have one thing in common: the challenges in the present-day and near-future marketing industry.
