In the full-time MBA programme, you'll have 15 hours of scheduled class time, while preparation, casework and assignments will take a further 30-35 hours per week. In each study period students take four classes in parallel.
Classes are scheduled from Monday till Thursday. Extracurricular activities such as career workshops, (which are mandatory for the full-time students) company visits and guest speaker events typically take place on Fridays.
GRE or GMAT test:
1) GRE - 620 (quantitative)and around 4.0 for analytical writing (the combined score should be 1200 or higher),
2) GMAT - around 600 and a minimum analytical writing score of around 4.0
Our educational philosophy is characterized by small-scale interactive classes, designed to stimulate active student participation, and linking theory to practice. Courses in the Amsterdam MBA programme are demanding and comply fully with the specification of an MBA as defined by EQUIS and AMBA.
The Amsterdam MBA programme is designed to incorporate three R's; rigour, relevance and reliability. With regards to rigour, we draw on a rich academic tradition of using management scholarship to address business problems. With regards to relevance, we bring the business world into the classroom and take the student out into the business world. Last, reliability is important – students need to be confident in their knowledge while at the same time understanding its limitations.

Typically, graduates go on to careers in areas in which thorough understanding of the complexities of international business is essential, such as multinational organisations, international consultancy firms, international financial institutions and banks. Our personal career service helps students make sound career choices and assists them in areas such as writing a cover letter, preparing a professional CV and good interviewing techniques.
Our goal is to give students a high-quality business and management education to enable them to develop into effective leaders. Leaders who convey what our MBA stands for: internationally oriented and with a strong understanding of the importance of a genuine personal approach.
The International Study trip is designed to give our students additional exposure to international business, particularly in emerging markets. The course comprises a one-week trip in which students follow lectures at a top Business School abroad and visit local companies and cultural events.
The trip is included in the tuition fee.
